Organic Fair Trade Green Tea Jade Cloud is a special grade of Chinese green tea produced in the high elevation tea gardens of western Hubei, China. Each year, our Jade Cloud is carefully selected from the farmers’ earliest batches of spring tea. Organic Jade Cloud has a mellow and refreshing character that is smooth with low astringency. Jade Cloud’s aroma suggests sweetly toasted chestnut and bluegrass.

Our Dragon Well is mellow and smooth with a fresh finish and roasted chestnut aroma. Dragon Well (Long Jing) is the most famous Chinese green tea, named after the Dragon’s Well landmark in the West lake area of the Zhejiang, where the tea originated. Dragon Well is a pan-fired green tea that is flat fried by hand in large woks. It is performed one small batch at a time according to an artisan processing technique that yields a tea with leaves shaped like the blade of a sword.

A beautiful tea to look at and to taste. Emerald Lily has a brisk, fresh flavour that is well balanced with aromatic notes of wildflowers and toasted pine nuts. This unique green tea is hand harvested especially from Yunnan’s old growth forest tea trees. Green tea from Yunnan’s old growth trees contains a higher content of polyphenols and natural tea antioxidants than other green teas.

Organic Rooibos

Rooibos is a nutritious herb with bountiful health benefits. Prepared like tea, its an all
natural, caffeine free source of powerful antioxidants that can strengthen the body’s
natural immunity against ageing and disease. Rooibos contains Vitamin C and E as well
as iron, zinc, potassium and calcium. It promotes restful sleep and relaxation. Devoid of
bitterness it is naturally sweet without sugar. It grows only in specific microclimates of
South Africa, and was originally drunk by the nomadic tribes inhabiting the Western Cape.
It is also known as African Red Bush.

African green rooibos is made with the same plant as the famous African Rooibos. After harvesting, green rooibos is not oxidised. The leaves and stems remain green, giving the infusion a bright orange colour with a unique earthy flavour and a sweet finish. It is lighter bodied than ‘red’ rooibos and is said to contain higher concentrations of antioxidants, vitamin and minerals.
