Organic Rooibos
Rooibos is a nutritious herb with bountiful health benefits. Prepared like tea, its an all
natural, caffeine free source of powerful antioxidants that can strengthen the body’s
natural immunity against ageing and disease. Rooibos contains Vitamin C and E as well
as iron, zinc, potassium and calcium. It promotes restful sleep and relaxation. Devoid of
bitterness it is naturally sweet without sugar. It grows only in specific microclimates of
South Africa, and was originally drunk by the nomadic tribes inhabiting the Western Cape.
It is also known as African Red Bush.
Green Rooibos, Organic
African green rooibos is made with the same plant as the famous African Rooibos. After harvesting, green rooibos is not oxidised. The leaves and stems remain green, giving the infusion a bright orange colour with a unique earthy flavour and a sweet finish. It is lighter bodied than ‘red’ rooibos and is said to contain higher concentrations of antioxidants, vitamin and minerals.
